Join Hokkaido University of Education (Japan), Simon Fraser University (Canada), and Illinois State University (USA) at the 2nd Pacific-Rim Conference on Education. Held on the Illinois State University campus, the main purpose of this conference is to share international perspectives about new challenges in education and the implications for teacher education. The conference will focus on teaching and learning in a global society with four conference sub-themes:
Conference registration is available online at www.pacificrimeducationconference.org. The registration fees include admission to sessions and some meals. Registration on or before September 12, 2008 for a single participant is $150 and groups of five or more from the same institution receive a 15% discount off of total registration fees. Registration fees after September 12, 2008 for a single participant is $175 (no group discount available after September 12, 2008).
