The Instructional Resource Commons is located in the front of CTLT and open to all faculty and staff. Come relax in the comfortable, quiet setting to read or get away from your office, or attend one of the CTLT workshops or events held in the IRC. The area includes a library that consists of books, videos, and handouts on a variety of pedagogical topics.

Our resources are listed alphabetically by author and can be sorted also by titles and topics. To find resources on a particular topic, or to find a particular book, click on "Find & Select" in the upper right corner of the Excel spreadsheet. Click "Find", and type in your book title, author, or category desired. Click "Find all" and if the Resource Commons has the resource, it will be listed in the bottom of the box. Most resources can be checked out at the CTLT front desk.
We are continuing to build the resources so please let us know of books, videos or handouts you have found useful for teaching. Click here to recommend a resource and we will review your recommendation when we purchase new resources.
We would also like to include your review in our listings in the future. Click here to write a review on any of our materials.

The name “Commons” was selected to reinforce the notion that this location is an area for faculty to assemble, learn and relax. Our Resource Commons area is available for meetings, reading or informal chats. We offer comfortable seating, the projection system and computer, and “bottomless” supply of tea/cocoa/water for your convenience and pleasure. Be sure to check us out next time you deliver your Opscan forms, or just stop in for a warm drink on a chilly day.
