Course Request Form

Instructors, in order to create a new WebCT course, some basic information is required.

Please take a few minutes to fully complete this form. After the form has been submitted and received, you will be contacted via the e-mail address that you specify below with the Web address (URL) for your new course and your instructor ID and password.
If you do not receive that information within a few days, contact the WebCT administrator. You can request up to four
new courses with this form. If you need to set up more than that, please submit additional forms.

 

Please provide the following information required for setting up your WebCT course/courses:

* Using a template to create a new WebCT course, in effect creates a copy of an existing course. The "default" template contains sample "home" page, quiz, course content, page design/layout that you can adapt to meet your needs. Reusing a course will require you to reset tools that you have used in previous semesters, especially the "Manage Students" area. Using an existing course, such as one you or a colleague created for another course, creates a copy of that course that you can modify to meet your needs for the new course. A blank course is created without any existing content or pages; i.e. you start from scratch.
